For 14 incredible years, I was at the forefront of entertainment news at CNN’s West Coast Bureau in Los Angeles. From exclusive celebrity interviews to covering the glitz and glam of award shows, I brought viewers the inside scoop on Hollywood’s biggest moments. Whether anchoring breaking entertainment news or reporting live from the red carpet, I delivered the stories that had everyone talking—always with a touch of personality and an insider’s perspective on the world of showbiz.
CNN Español
During my time in LA, much of my career was spent at CNN en Español, where I anchored *Escenario*, the first-ever Pan-American entertainment news show. Airing daily, *Escenario* brought the latest in showbiz to a Spanish-speaking audience, from Hollywood to Latin America. As the face of the program, I had the thrill of covering the hottest entertainment stories in real time—always with a vibrant, cross-cultural flair that connected audiences across continents.
CNN Money Switzerland
After trading red carpets for stock markets, I made the leap to CNN Money Switzerland in Zurich as an anchor and correspondent. In my new role, I swapped celebrity interviews for CEO sit-downs and Hollywood headlines for global financial news. Covering everything from market trends to economic policy, I brought the same energy and insight to finance as I did to entertainment, making complex topics engaging and easy to understand. It was a whole new stage—this time with a financial flair!
Telemundo
Before heading to CNN's West Coast Bureau, I cut my teeth in entertainment news as a correspondent for Telemundo in Madrid. For about a year, I had a front-row seat to the rise of global superstars like Shakira and Enrique Iglesias, interviewing them just as their careers were taking off. It was the perfect place to sharpen my reporting and storytelling skills!
Live TV in Studio Experience
I’m completely at home on set, whether it’s anchoring a live broadcast or hosting a segment. Navigating the fast pace of live TV is second nature—I can stay focused on delivering to the camera while seamlessly managing cues and conversations happening behind the scenes.
Comfortable on camera
No matter the lens, cameras do not scare me. My ease in front of the camera and collaborative spirit make me easy to work with, creating a positive environment that helps productions run smoothly.
Improvisation
In live TV, there's always something happening behind the scenes, but I’m trained to stay calm and handle it all with ease. Whether it’s unexpected changes or surprises, I can improvise or quickly adapt and respond in the moment, keeping the flow natural and engaging no matter what’s going on around me.
Writing scripts
I love writing my own TV scripts, mixing audio and visuals to create stories that grab attention. I know how to keep things interesting and make every second count, all while staying within the time limits. It’s all about crafting engaging content that keeps viewers hooked!
